MoeMaKa is doing "Burmese Helping Burmese – Charity Drive" to accept donation to support Burmese activists, writers, artists, journalists, monks and family members residing inside Burma who are struggling for freedom of press, expression and democracy in Burma while defying the brutal crackdown and oppression of Burmese military junta.
Whether the amount of donation may be small or not, the main purpose of "Burmese Helping Burmese - Charity Drive" is to show the distressed Burmese people inside Burma that the World and overseas Burmese community still care and remember the struggle and the sacrifice of Burmese people and stand together with them.
We have sent support and help worth of US 68307.76 towards Burmese people struggling for democracy inside Burma in the year of 2007. In the year 2008, we have donated US$ 20,000.00 for Burmese victims from Cyclone Nargis and another US$ 20,000.00 to Burmese Helping Burmese – Charity Drive as in estimated amount.
With the continuing help and donation of concerned overseas Burmese community, we, MoeMaKa Multimedia, shall commit our best to deliver the support and aid to Burmese people in struggle for democracy inside Burma and we have no "operation cost" or "service deduction" from the donation received. MoeMaKa is registered as 501(C)3 – Non Profit Organization in US, the donation shall be totally tax deductable.

Burmese Helping Burmese Donation of 500 US$ each for 2 months (Total of 1000.00 US$) goes to support for political prisoners and families and Burmese journalists and families.
Addition to that, we received US$ 2607.00 from Boston Burmese Community to donate to the victims from the Nargis cyclone. We on behalf of them, donate the charity to assist the Burmese orphans under the care and loving kindness of Child Aid Foundation run by Burmese monks together with Sayadaw U Dhammapiya of Matta Nanda Vihara.

Thanks for your continuous support on Burmese Helping Burmese fund to help and support the following Burmese people inside Burma
This month, we are finally in the process of publishing a book dedicated to Kye Mon U Thaung who recently passed away in April 2008 at the age of 82. He was a renowned journalist in exile who continuously fight for freedom of expression and press in Burma for almost of his life time. We will be raising fund from the sale of this book to assist and support the Burmese media people inside Burma who still stand out and fight for the press freedom inside Burma.
And still, we are helping with what we can to assist and support the Burmese people in Irrawaddy delta area hit hard by the Nargis cyclone back in May 3rd 2008. We are still helping and reaching out to the remote area and small villages where some of the help are hard to reach.
For the month of June 2008, we managed to raised and received 4200.00 US$ from outside Burma to help Burmese people inside Burma.
We know that the charity drive will be the long term and tiring process as long as our country is deeply pressed under the boots of military regime. But still, we will carry on as long as the receiving end inside Burma is the Burmese people who are still never giving up the hope, the courage and the struggle for freedom of Burma.

It shows clearly that the Burmese Military Junta themselves are ignorant and indifferent towards their own people and they are more concerned of holding on to the power and authority with the price of their own Burmese people lives and misery while Burmese community itself and Burmese monks are risking their lives, health and wealth to save and rescue their fellow citizens from the post-Nargis disaster under the failed state run by the failed government
We will be continuing our support and help towards the Burmese people in need and at the same time, we will be reporting to the readers of MoeMaKa News & Media with real life stories and news of Nargis hit Delta area of Burma. Without the contribution from our volunteers, donors and contributors inside and outside of Burma, the Burmese Helping Burmese Charity Drive and Works will never be possible since from the beginning.
As a token of thanks, we would like to share our "MoeMaKa Google Public Photo Albums" where we saved our photos on Nargis hit Delta area. Except from the albums of Sayadaw U Dhammapiya's relief works, most of our photos were taken and shared by our volunteers and donors inside Burma. မုန္တို္င္းမလာခင္က က်ေနာ္တို႔က ေဒၚလာ ၂၀၀၀ ေလာက္ပဲ အေရးေပၚသုံးဖို႔ မွာထားမိတယ္။ မုန္တိုင္းျပီးေတာ့ ၆ ရက္ေန႔မွ အဆက္အသြယ္ေတြ ျပန္ရတယ္။ အားလုံးက အိုးအိမ္ေတြ နည္းနည္းပါးပါး ထိခုိက္တာကလြဲျပီး အသက္အႏၱရာယ္မျဖစ္ၾကေတာ့ မုန္တို္္င္းဒဏ္သင့္ ဒုကၡသည္ ကူညီတဲ့ကိစၥကို ရွိတာေတြနဲ႔ ဆက္လုပ္ဖို႔ တညီတညီတည္း ဆုံးျဖတ္ၾကတာကို ေတြ႔ရပါတယ္။
အဲသည္ေတာ့ က်ေနာ္တို႔အားလုံး တတ္ႏိုင္သေလာက္ အေမရိကန္ ေဒၚလာ ၆၀၀၀ ကို ေနာက္ထပ္ေဆာင္းျပီး ေလေဘးကူညီေရးကိစၥမွာ သုံးစြဲဖို႔ ဆုံးျဖတ္ ျပင္ဆင္ထားလိုက္ျပီျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ဒါကေတာ့ ရန္ကုန္ျမိဳ႔နဲ႔ ဧရာ၀တီ ေဒသမ်ားက ဒုကၡသည္ေတြကို လက္လွမ္းမီသမွ် အကူအညီေပးမွာ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
အလွဴ၊ အကူနဲ႔ လုပ္အားေပးခ်င္သူမ်ားကိုေတာ့ က်ေနာ္တို႔က အဆင့္ ၃ ဆင့္ ခြဲျပီး ကူၾကဖို႔ ေမတၱာရပ္ခံခ်င္ပါတယ္။
(၁) အစိုးရမ်ားနဲ႔ အစိုးရမဟုတ္တဲ့ ႏိုင္ငံတကာအဖြဲ႔အစည္းမ်ားကို လွဴဖို႔၊ အားေပးဖို႔ပါ။ လုံး၀ အတိဒုကၡေရာက္ေနတဲ့ ေဒသနဲ႔ ျပည္သူေတြဆီကို ေခတ္မီ နည္းပညာ၊ ကိရိယာ၊ အင္အားေတြနဲ႔ အေရာက္၊ ထိေရာက္ ျမန္ဆန္တဲ့ အကူအညီေတြကို သူတို႔မွသာ တတ္ႏိုင္တာပါ။ သူတို႔ေတြ ယခင္ကတည္းက စုေဆာင္းျပင္ဆင္ထားတဲ့ အသင့္အကူအညီမ်ားနဲ႔ လက္ငင္းကို သြားကူႏိုင္လို႔ ေနာက္ပိုင္း ဆက္ကူညီႏိုင္ေအာင္ ျပည္သူက ေနာက္ကလိုက္ ပံ့ပိုးရတာ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
(၂) လူထုၾကားက အမ်ဳိးသားေရးနဲ႔ လူမႈေရး အစုအဖြဲ႔မ်ားကို လွဴဖို႔၊ အားေပးဖို႔ပါ။ တစိတ္တပိုင္း ဒုကၡေရာက္ေနတဲ့ ျပည္သူေတြကို ေဆး၀ါး၊ အစားအစာ၊ အမိုးအကာနဲ႔ ေရသန္႔ ေရာက္ရွိႏိုင္ဖို႔ သူတို႔ေတြရဲ႔ ကိုယ္ထူကို္ယ္ထ ကိုယ့္အားကိုယ္ကိုးတဲ႔ ရွိႏွင့္ျပီးတဲ့ ကြန္ယက္နဲ႔ အေတြ႔အၾကံဳေတြ၊ ခံႏိုင္ရည္ေတြကို အားကိုးရမွာ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
(၃) မိသားစု၊ အိမ္နီးခ်င္း နီးစပ္ရာ ကူညီေစာင့္ေရွာက္ေရးကို မိတ္ေဆြမ်ား၊ မိဘေဆြမ်ဳိးမ်ားကတဆင့္ လွဴဖို႔၊ အားေပးဖို႔ပါ။ သိသာထင္ရွားတဲ့ ဥပမာကေတာ့ ဒုကၡသည္ေတြ ယာယီခိုကိုးစရာ ဘုန္းၾကီးေက်ာင္းမ်ား၊ ဘုရားမ်ား၊ ေက်ာင္းမ်ား၊ ဘာသာေရး အေဆာက္အဦမ်ားကို အကူအညီေပးၾကဖို႔ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
နံပတ္ ၁ ကေတာ့ ကိုယ္ေရာက္ေနတဲ့ႏိုင္ငံ အစိုးရအဖြဲ႔အစည္းေတြ၊ ၾကက္ေျခနီ၊ ကုလအဖြဲ႔၊ ကမာၻက်န္းမာေရးအဖြဲ႔ၾကီး၊ ကမာၻ႔စားနပ္ရိကၡာအဖြဲ႔ၾကီး စသည္တို႔ကို လွဴႏိုင္ပါတယ္။ သူတို႔ေတြကလည္း သူတို႔အကူေတြကို အင္အားသုံးျပီး ပို႔ႏိုင္သေလာက္လည္း ပို႔၊ အသင့္ ျပင္ဆင္ျပီး ေစာင့္ဆိုင္းထားတာေတြ လုပ္ေနျပီ ျဖစ္လို႔ အားေပးရမည့္ အလုပ္ပါပဲ။

အဲဒီအခါမွာ ျပည္သူလူထုအေနနဲ႔ သတင္းအခ်က္အလက္မ်ားကို ပြင့္ပြင့္လင္းလင္း စီးဆင္းေစတဲ့၊ ဖုံးကြယ္တားဆီးျခင္းကို အက်င့္မလုပ္တဲ့၊ သတိၱနဲ႔ ၀ိရိယရွိတဲ့ အမ်ဳိ္းသားေရး ေစတနာရွင္မ်ား၊ လူငယ္အစုအဖြဲ႔မ်ားကို လက္တြဲျပီး ၀ိုင္း၀န္း ေဆာင္ရြက္ၾကျပီး ျမန္မာျပည္သူတို႔ကို အစြမ္းရွိသေလာက္ ကူညီႏိုင္ၾကမွာ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
ျမန္မာျပည္ၾကီးဟာ စစ္မုန္တိ္ုင္းေအာက္မွာ ၾကံ့ၾကံ့ခံရပ္တည္ေနရတာ အႏွစ္ ၄၀ ေက်ာ္ျပီ။ အခု သဘာ၀ေဘးအႏၱရာယ္ မုန္တိုင္းေအာက္မွာ ထင္ထင္ရွားရွားၾကီးကို ဆုံးရႈံးပ်က္စီး ေၾကမြေနပါျပီ။ မေန႔က ျမန္မာျပည္ၾကီးဟာ ဒီေန႔ ျမန္မာျပည္ၾကီး မဟုတ္ေတာ့ပါဘူး။ ေနာက္တေန႔မွာ က်ေနာ္တို႔ ခ်စ္တဲ့ ျမန္မာျပည္ၾကီးလို႔ ေခၚစရာေတာင္မရွိေတာ့ရင္ ခင္ဗ်ားတို႔ ဘယ္လိုမ်ား ေတြးျပီး ေျဖဆည္ၾကမလဲလို႔ သိခ်င္ေနမိတယ္။

Burmese Helping Burmese – Statement 9/2008
Dear All Burmese Helping Burmese Donors
We will have to change our name to – "Burmese Saving Burmese" under the watchful, brutal and ignorant eye of Burmese junta. We have to tell the whole world to urge – "Please save Burmese from the Disasters of the Storm and the Regime".
As we have reported previously we have reserved US$ 2000.00 for the Storm and after May 6th, we made contact with our "Burmese Helping Burmese" team back in Rangoon and they are up and running again helping storm victims as much as they can.
We have so far from our sources, initiated and mobilized the total fund donation to help the Burmese Storm Victims in the affected area around Rangoon & Delta with US$ 8,000.00 already.
Please share the information that we need 3 level of support and donation drive to help save Burma.
1. Governmental and Non Governmental Organization Level of Help & AID – most effective as they have all the technology, capacity and support and knowledge in deeply affected area.
2. Grass Root and Community Level Collective Help and Support – effective well in helping victims partially in need of help where the area is not totally devastated.
3. Assisting Neighborhood Though friends, relatives and parents – effective in helping designated and targeted community such as monasteries, churches and schools where it house the homeless / starving victims.
For 1 you can designate your donation to the requested organizations such as UNICEF, UNDP, WHO, WFP, Red Cross, etc etc. and for no. 3, you can donate to your direct contact of your neighborhood back home. However for no. 2 designation, we would like to recommend sharing the fund with the following experienced community groups such as –
1. Social & Medial Help & Assistance Group led by grass root community leaders, artists, writers and intellectuals who have been running the operations in Rangoon and Burma independently from the authority and they have their own communication and network. (namely – Kyaw Thu, Shwe Zee Kwet, Than Myint Aung, Zarganar and other writers, journalists …)
2. Social & Community Assistance Group managed by National League for Democracy where Daw Aung San Suu Kyi as their secretary which consisted of youths, experienced elders, network with the experience to run the operation under various kind of bad weather of Burma ( political, social, threat and stress …)
Please be aware that the Burmese junta and its group will be obstructing the grass root collection of help and support operations as they already have been doing to the international community AID operation. So we need to have information transparent and also to help each other under such situation. We also have to rely and corporate with above mentioned established community groups which have the past-experience and courage to continue to help and save the people of Burma.
We have to unite and work together inside Burma with all the friends in need to prove that we all are friends in deed.
